Lyre Dining Chairs in Aid of Robyn Smyth

Evening everyone! I haven't blogged for a while and this blog is a little different from the others I have done.
I'm not going to talk about technique or tips today, but about a little girl called Robyn Smyth who is and has been battling Neuroblastoma cancer. She has not been able to receive treatment here in Ireland for a long time now and the only specialist who can help her is in the US. So, Revamped want to do something to help raise funds to keep Robyn's treatment in the US going and that's where furniture comes in - of course - and you!
These Lyre Back Dining Chairs were given to me by a friend of mine, Lara, who had them in storage thinking that she'd use them again one day. However, when having a good clear out last Autumn, she asked me if I would like them. I could see that they were in great condition and of an unusual shape so I said yes. Then I wasn't sure what to do with them. Christmas came and went and I thought that I'd better get to work on them. At this point, another crafter friend of mine was having a cake morning in aid of Robyn. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, so decided to donate these completed chairs to Robyn's Life Trust campaign instead. As they were given to me, it only seemed right that any income from these chairs would go to a good cause.
As you can see they have a clean, fresh, crisp look and have been upcycled in an easy clean, satinwood finish and recovered with a modern stripe. They are very comfortable with ample padding for a relaxing dining experience.
If you know of anyone who is looking for some new dining chairs, maybe someone in need of extra chairs or even a local cafe or restaurant who like to have a mish mash of different styled chairs, please let them know about these ones for sale. All four are a bargain at €60 each and ALL proceeds from the sale will go to Robyn's Trust.
