Packaging folds can be ironed out before application if you wish. To do so, use a medium heat setting until the crease has disappeared.

How to adhere your decoupage paper:

• Paint the surface with a light or white colored background so the image will show against the transparency of the paper.

• For a natural edge, gently tear away the white border rather than cut with scissors.

• Apply an even layer of decoupage medium to the surface, then 'roll' on your paper. If you are covering a large area, it is best to do it a section at a time. Use a brayer to remove any air bubbles and flatten the paper to the surface.

• Once the paper is positioned correctly, apply another layer of glue over the top.

• Let top layer fully dry before applying a second coat of decoupage medium or varnish.

• Do not touch your rice paper when it is wet.

• Use a flat brush with wide bristles.
