Prep - Transition

Fusion's Transition is ideal as a base coat when upcycling from a dark base to a light colour, ie. mahogany changing to a light neutral shade may take several coats for excellent coverage.

Simply apply a coat or two of Transition before your light colour. Transition is recycled Fusion Mineral Paint and is a pale grey in colour, however, please note that this shade of grey may vary depending on batches made.

As with Fusion Mineral Paint, it is self priming and does not require a primer unless the substrate is shiny or a wood that bleeds tannins.

NB: This product is NOT a stain blocker and the appropriate stain blocking primers should be used when painting timber that is prone to bleeding.
